WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SITE FOR CAROLINA LAKES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Carolina Lakes is a gated community of approximately 1,700 homes (Deed Restrictions Apply).  The Association has approximately 35 miles of "private" paved roads and is best known for our Lakes: Crystal, Diamond, Mirror, Sapphire, Silver, Ski Lake, and Lake Carolina (the main lake-approximately 240 acre) with two marina pavilions.

Many of our residents enjoy boating, kayaking, and Golf, as well as woodsy feel of our community. Our diverse community includes active duty military, civilian contractors, retirees and a multitude of school age kids.

Harnett County has four distinct seasons with a temperate climate and plenty of sunshine.  Within the past few years a variety of retail businesses have opened nearby and the cities of Sanford, Fayetteville and Raleigh is just a short drive away.

An example of our amenities and programs offered include:

A Swimming Pool (with lessons offered through the YMCA)
Scott Dyer Field (with Soccer Camp offered through Challenger Sports "British Soccer")
Tennis Courts
Basketball Court
A Fitness Trail
Various Clubs and Groups
Many more great amenities!

Community Notices

Effective 5:00 pm Friday may 22, 2020 NC will be entering Phase 2 of the Governor’s Safer at Home Order.  In an effort to maintain the safety of our community and follow Governor Cooper's mandates, the following updates to the Carolina Lakes amenities closures will take place:

Playgrounds and Marina bathrooms will remain closed due to our inability to properly sanitize multiple times per day in accordance with state and CDC guidelines.
Outdoor open areas, fitness trails, and sports courts, Marina Pavilions, Marina beach, lake access will remain open.  People should not gather in groups of 10 or more and physical distancing should still be observed. Residents are encouraged to sanitize any tables or equipment used as the POA cannot maintain these in accordance with state and CDC guidelines; use of these items are at the risk of the residents and their guests.
The business office will open to the public.  A limit of two customers will be permitted in the office at a time; the lobby will be open with available paperwork for residents to fill out and have ready before entering.  We ask that you wear a mask for the safety of our employees.  Any payments of cash require exact change, please call the office at 919-499-9122 if you have questions.
The clubhouse remains closed to rentals and gatherings over 10.  Meetings and clubs of 10 or less can be scheduled with the office and can be held between 9a-5p Monday-Friday.  The clubhouse lending library is open during business hours.
The pool remains closed.  In addition to stringent requirements imposed by state of NC, the CDC, and NCDHHS to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are behind in opening due to an emergency plumbing repair and delayed ability to certify lifeguard staff until Phase 2 was implemented.  A separate email will be sent if/when the pool is able to open.

Just a reminder that community rules are still in effect.  If you need a copy of the Community Code, you can find it on our website www.carolinalakes.info. Thank you again for all your continued support of Carolina Lakes POA!
